November 2017: MPs from across the country took the opportunity to learn more about heart failure at a drop-in session at Portcullis House on Wednesday, November 15, hosted by Maggie Throup MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Heart Disease and Virendra Sharma, Member of Parliament for Ealing Southall. Alliance for Heart Failure members, including Cardiomyopathy UK, Pumping Marvellous, and the Kent Surrey Sussex Academic Health Science Network, explained the current state of heart failure services and the need to do more to raise awareness of the condition.
