NICE Quality Standard: Chronic heart failure in adults (published January 2023)

This quality standard covers the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure. It includes the provision of NT‑proBNP testing for diagnosis as well as a personalised cardiac rehabilitation plan for every patient. 

 

NICE:  Acute heart failure in adults: diagnosis and management (NG106, published September 2018)

This guideline covers diagnosing and managing chronic heart failure in people aged 18 and over. It aims to improve diagnosis and treatment to increase the length and quality of life for people with heart failure.

NICE:  Acute heart failure: diagnosis and management (CG187, published October 2014)

This guideline covers diagnosing and managing acute heart failure or possible acute heart failure in people aged 18 and over. It aims to improve the immediate care of someone who is acutely unwell as a result of heart failure.
