The Alliance for Heart Failure is proud to announce that it has become a collaborator in the British Society for Heart Failure’s 25in25 initiative that aims to reduce deaths from heart failure by 25% through a community-led approach to early detection.
Across its campaigns, the Alliance is committed to improving timely and accurate diagnosis of heart failure. Within the multidisciplinary team, we have worked to improve awareness and uptake of NT-proBNP testing and we continue to work with a stakeholders across the NHS and government to implement the recommendations in our Call To Action report.
We look forward to working closely with BHF and other organisations involved in 25in25. The initiative is a vital means to better understand population health in relation to heart failure, reduce regional variation in the provision of life-saving interventions, and ultimately ease the growing burden of heart failure across the UK.
